I just had upwards of 38, probably no more than 50, Common Nighthawks over my house. It's the most I've seen in spring in the 6 years that I have lived in this house. Also if anyone visits Bandy Field in the near future there is a mature Mullberry tree in full fruit right now. It is providing wonderful a opportunity to see a small variety of species. Great photo ops too. This morning I saw Swainson's (2) and Grey-cheeked Thrush (1), Cedar waxwing, American Robin, Gray Catbird and House finch. Yesterday there was Great Crested Flycatcher, Red-bellied Woodpecker and Red-eyed Vireo. Arun You are subscribed to VA-Richmond-General.
