Have to wonder if there is any connection between these birds and the three
that were found during the May 18 BioBlitz at Belmead in Powhatan. At the time
it appeared that they put down there when they ran into a thunderstorm across
the river in Goochland.

Hello All,
I had a call from Sergio Harding today with a report of Mississippi Kites that
have been seen in a neighborhood in the Short Pump area for the past week or
so.
I contacted the home owner, Amy, and was able to observe 7 birds this evening
just after 6 pm.
She is open to birders coming to look for the birds. Please get in touch with
me if you are interested in trying to see the Mississippi Kites.
