There were a flurry of emails recently send to the list requesting that the
users be unsubscribed. I noticed in looking back over recent messages to the
list that some of them have the footer that describes how to unsubscribe (send
an email to a slightly different email address with a specific subject line),
but others don’t. I’m not sure why. At any rate, if would like to unsubscribe,
here is the fastest and easiest way to do it:
To unsubscribe, send email to va-richmond-general-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with
'unsubscribe' in the Subject field. To adjust other settings (vacation, digest,
etc.) please visit //www.freelists.org/list/va-richmond-general.
Otherwise, you’re waiting around until I or someone else who might or might not
remember how to do the unsubscribe manually sees the message and gets around to
doing something about it.
