Got called to the parking deck area this afternoon where a Common Yellowthroat had either hit a window and landed stunned on the pavement or just took a long rest after some migration. So, in between some trauma's and medical emergencies there was time for some TLC for a beautiful female Common Yellowthroat. After a few quiet hours in a Kleenex box and some water the bird was successfully released back to the wild.
Attached is a poor quality phone pic of the little bird.
You just never know what surprises the MCV ER will produce!
