There were about a dozen participants for this morning's Chesterfield County walk at Henricus this morning. The highlights were the LEAST BITTERN seen by Tyler Turpin and myself around 7:50 AM, and heard by some of the group as we left at the end of the trip; a very cooperative pair of BLUE GROSBEAKS; a nesting female Cardinal and a GREEN HERON that strayed into a Red-winged Blackbird's nesting territory and was summarily chased away.
