I left out Magnolia Warblers (... and probably some others too). Larry --------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Larry R Lynch <birder6@xxxxxxxx> To: VA-Richmond-General@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Fri, 12 May 2006 09:48:46 -0400 Subject: [va-richmond-general] James River Park - Reedy Creek to 42nd St. - Mourning Warbler, etc. Hi all, Some new arrivals at James River Park this morning: N. Waterthrush, Tennessee Warbler, & Mourning Warbler. Other warblers present included: Chestnut-sided, Canada, Blackpoll, Yellow, Yellow-rumped, N. Paula, Black & White (gathering nesting material), Prothonotary, Redstart, Black-throated Blue.... Plus: Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Baltimore Oriole, Great-crested Flycatcher, Indigo Buntings, etc. The Mourning Warbler was in the corner by the large pipes... on the same side of the trail as the pipes. He was very secretive in the low vegetation and only doing an occasional soft song. I took a few documentation photos but did not get any great shots. The Screech Owl was NOT sitting in the cavity hole as he has been doing the past couple of days. Larry Larry Lynch Chesterfield Co., VA birder6@xxxxxxxx . You are subscribed to VA-Richmond-General.
