Forwarded from Cyrus Brame: Dear Friends, Spring has arrived and it's once again time to spruce up the James River National Wildlife Refuge in Prince George County. Below is a brief description of some of the activities the group will focus on. Saturday, April 18th, 9:00 AM-1:00 PM James River National Wildlife Refuge Volunteer Work Day Help give a little TLC to the Wildlife Refuge in preparation for the coming season. Some of the tasks will include landscaping, building enhancements, canoe launch installation, and irrigation control. These projects will not only improve habitat, but also create a platform for public appreciation for wildlife. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. We will be limiting participation to twenty volunteers this year... so space is only available to the those registering early. Pre-registration is required by contacting me via e-mail. I look forward to hearing from you.
