Hello Birders, I spent a couple of hours between 5 and 7 pm downtown looking at the river. Notably the Iceland Gull was still present on the rocks off Browns Island. Other Gulls included 5 Great Black-backed, 2 Ring-billed, 3 Bonaparte's, and about 40 Herring. Other migrants of note included a female Bufflehead, several Purple Martins, and Barn Swallows, and about 100 Chimney Swifts. Also it appeared that there might be 2 or 3 pairs of Great Egrets at the heron rookery. Osprey and Double crested Cormorants, and Great Blue Herons were plentiful. As I was leaving a Peregrine made a fly by appearance. Good Birding, Arun Bose Richmond
