All these hummingbird reports I have been getting here have resulted in my keeping my hummingbird feeder up a little longer. The last hummingbird we saw was in September, however. It's warm here but it won't stay warm. These little guys had better pack up their hummers and head south. Today at lunchtime, a female came to her regular portal at "her" regular feeder (of the 3 feeders in the yard) then flew back to the tree limb from which she watches that feeder. The day before 2 hummers were zinging around on and off. Nelda in Eastern henrico On Oct 7, 2014, at 10:33 AM, Caroline Coe wrote: > We just saw a hummingbird feeding on the salvia out front.
