From: Friends of James River Park [mailto:fojrp@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, January 23, 2007 5:16 PM To: Friends of James River Park Subject: Hikers wanted to lead hikes in James River Park Dear Friend of James River Park, The staff of James River Park has hosted several long hikes through James River Park which have been attended by over 100 eager hikers. Due to the overwhelming popularity of these hikes, we are currently seeking volunteer guides to lead regularly scheduled hikes in the parks. Hikes will vary in length and skill levels. Guides will be given training by park staff members in conducting safe tours that emphasize park history, wild life, and plants. Two informational meetings will be held at the Reedy Creek Visitor's Center: One January 30 at 6:00 PM and the other on February 3 at 10:00 AM. If interested please contact John Johnson at: mksm1@xxxxxxx and let him know which meeting you plan on attending. Please feel free to forward this email to others who may be interested in this exciting opportunity. Many thanks, Molly Dellinger-Wray, President Friends of James River Park P.O.
