….  There was an exciting ten seconds of action as a Northern Harrier made an 
uncharacteristic pass at the ducks before cruising off in search of more usual 
prey 

 

I witnessed the same activity on the 17th  The young harrier first pursued a 
Mallard and then a Gadwall. I managed to get a few photos.
