10:30 am - Lecture: “Along The River’s Edge” begins inside the Shenandoah
University Lodge by award winning nature photographer Bob Schamerhorn of
Richmond, VA.
Enjoy a short morning nature walk, approximately 1/2 mile, to a nearby Heron
colony and Bald Eagle's nest, afterwards join us for a presentation about Heron
colonies and riverine birding.
Location: Shenandoah University Cool Springs River Campus lodge which is
located approximately one mile north of Route 7 and the first road east of the
Shenandoah River. (1400 Parker Ln, Bluemont, VA 20135)
