What worries me about this bird in the grocery section is this. A few months back I was in a Kroger's, and there were two starlings in the produce department. They were walking around in a bin of sundried tomatoes, and I saw one of them, excuse me, poop right on the tomatoes. Then they flew off to peck on some lettuce, where they did the same thing. I talked to the person working in the produce department, and he told me that someone has been called to take care of the problem. He seemed totally unconcerned about these birds pooping on his produce! I have never shopped there again. Margaret You are subscribed to VA-Richmond-General.
