[va-richmond-general] GHOW at the Carillon

Did not have the full-out-of-the-nest view of the Great Horned Owl up at the Carillon today but was happy to see the ol' girl hunkered down in the nest with her tufts blowing in the breeze. A Tufted Titmouse boldly sat on the nest for a moment and a Blue Jay mobbed the totally unimpressed owl.
Lots of bird activity all around the grounds. Beautiful day.
