Hope you were able to cure any remaining cabin fever by getting outdoors
today!
We are in need of a couple of volunteers. First - is anyone available to
help at a Landowner Workshop put on by the Fish and Wildlife Service on
backyard birds and habitat. There is more information below. Let me know
if you are available to assist on that project.
Second - Our current Thrasher Editor, Naseem Reza, is nearing the end of
his term on the Board and we are in search of a new editor. Naseem is
happy to help with the transition to a new editor, but he would like to get
someone on board for our June issue, which is a little earlier than our
usual officer transitions. Naseem can answer questions about the specifics
of the job, but it is published every other month (six issues a year).

you have questions!
Third - We need committee members for our Membership Committee who can help
out at the monthly meetings. Committee members help by handing out name
tags and welcoming newcomers. If you are interested in serving on the
Committee, please let me know!

Hopefully you are warming up after the heavy snow.
I wanted to ask you if anyone in RAS might be interested in presenting a
short 20-30 minute breakout segment on backyard birds and their preferred
habitats. The session is part of a day-long Landowner Workshop sponsored
by the USFWS and a number of other partners in mid March. I've attached a
general brochure that captures a bit of what the workshop hopes to
elaborate on.
If you have a few people in mind, provide me their contacts and I will
reach-out to them directly.
