Subject: [va-richmond-general] Fw: General Richmond Audubon Society InquiryHere is a question that was sent through the RAS website. If anyone has any info on this, please post it.Thanks,Al Warfield----- Original Message -----From: Anthony_AlexSent: Monday, April 21, 2008 11:20 AMSubject: General Richmond Audubon Society InquiryI live in the west end off River Road. We have a nest of Wrens and the babies are being fed by not only the parents but by a Phoebe as well. The nest is right next to the sunroom and you can clearly see the Phoebe feeding the baby Wrens. I thought maybe the Phoebe had lost her brood somehow and when she heard the Wrens screaming for food started feeding them but I don't know. The Wren parents don't seem to mind. Has anyone there ever heard of anything like this?
