I've always seen a steady stream of Great Blue Herons flying over (in the distance) when I've gone to games at the Diamond as well as the Winged Rock Dove of peace ;-) Fenway Park in Boston sports an impressive bird list-I've seen some good stuff while rooting for the Sox. Chimney swifts, Common Nighthawks, one male American Kestrel and possibly an immature bird. It was larger than the male, chunky, and brown. Because of the lighting, I did not get a good look at the tail or sideburns ( merlin?). Anyhow, it wasn't there Sunday afternoon so I am hoping tonight to get a second chance to see it. > Tonight is the last game for the season at 7 pm. Tickets are $7 and parking is $3. We sit on the left hand side in case you want to join us. Sue > > You are subscribed to VA-Richmond-General.
