Please note that Chesterfield County does not provide any funding for
the James River Park System. There is a close working relationship between
the City of Richmond and the County in terms of how to best utilize the
river resource. This includes planning efforts for bicycle linkages,
suggestions for directional and informational signs, and volunteer help with
river
clean up efforts. In all cases, however, there has been no expenditure of
county funds.
