In late-breaking news, I'll be leading a walk this Sunday, April 11, at Henricus/Dutch Gap in hopes of meeting the Prothonotary Warblers as they arrive. Last Sunday, there were plenty of Yellow-throated Warblers and Great Blue Herons had chicks in some of the nests, so regardless of the migration schedule of the Prothonotaries, it promises to be a good day to bird. Meet at the Visitor Center parking lot at 8:00 am. For additional details, see the web site.
