We have had an American Crow family raising their young in our neighborhood. The 3 young are well grown now, they appear to be a little brownish around the head than the adults. They still latch on to the adults and solicit for food. When the adults are not around, they are highly exploratory. This morning they were taking bread that I had put out yesterday and were dunking it in the bird bath. They also did the same thing with dead leaves and sticks. They also picked up and investigated, but did not eat, the eggshells that I put out for the Blue Jays. Wendy Ealding Chesterfield You are subscribed to VA-Richmond-General.
