[va-richmond-general] Cooper's Hawk

Cooper's Hawk does nest in the Richmond area, e.g., there is one nesting in the 
JR Park Wetlands now.  But they are much less common than Red-shouldered Hawk, 
which nests fairly commonly in suburban settings.  I would check your 
identification and make sure that it is not this species.  Red-shouldered Hawks 
also take squirrels, while Cooper's are primarily a predator on other birds.
