I last saw a hummingbird on Monday, October 3 but I think I heard one
yesterday...so unsure! Still have a feeder up.

My most recent hummingbird was October 7 and I know of a report from
Charlotte County just yesterday.

A cold front came through last night bringing in the coldest morning of the
fall. It also came with some birds. I saw 3 chipping sparrows and 3 pine
siskins this morning. This is the first time I have ever observed pine
siskins in our yard. It took me some time to distinguish them from
goldfinches (which did not show up this morning).

PS. Anyone seen hummingbirds lately? Especially in the Richmond to
Midlothian area?
