Four birders joined me for the Richmond Audubon field trip to City Point in
Hopewell this morning.
Highlights included a cooperative Orange-crowned Warbler and a not so
cooperative Black-and-white Warbler. The latter was elusive and not seen by
all in the group. However judging by past years this species can winter in
the area.
A Merlin was a quick fly-by to round out the morning with 39 species + crow
sp.
