We have a pair of chickadees gathering nest materials! pulling pieces of a
white rug we had taken out on the deck to shake. We let her continue to gather
what she felt she needed! Just a week or two ago we found a failed chickadee
nest in a bluebird box, apparently abandoned. Nice to know they're starting
over.
