You can see many Greater Yellowlegs, just outside the County at Cumberland
Marsh, just go at Low tide for Lester Manor. Sometimes you can see them or
hear them in the County at Dutch Gap, Twin Rock Spur during the Slack Ebb
before the Max Flood at Dutch Gap.

I hit some birding spots for the BBA2 today. This morning, I checked out
Point of Rocks, where an Osprey is attempting to build a nest on one of the
light structures at the ball field. Between the high tide and wind, the water
level in the marsh was very high, and I spooked a Greater Yellowlegs, not a
particularly common species in the county.
This afternoon I was at Mid-Lothian Mines, where I heard my FOS Blue-headed
Vireo and saw a White-breasted Nuthatch sporting a blue band on its left leg.
Anyone know anything about this?
