All,
Cerulean Warblers need breeding grounds in the U.S.A. that have Open Canopies
with White Oaks and other larges trees. These forests are good for hunters
looking for deer and turkey as well and we partner with them as one of the only
hope's for Ceruleans. This program, described below, depends on private money
plus some conservation money from the farm bill can provide habit to make up
for habitat lost due to mountain top removal. The current administration is
taking away this small amount of money to restore lands for hunters and
ceruleans from the farm bill.
Please write you senators and congressional leaders and ask them to save money
for the Farm Bill’s Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP).
