Took a ride to DGAP today hoping to hear Prothonotary's but none heard...yet.
Blue-grey Gnatcatchers and Yellow-throated warblers were dominating the canopy.
Had a great surprise to spot 2 Blue-winged Teal that seemed to buddy up with a
male Wood Duck. Many Canada Geese on nests and stacks of turtles enjoyed the
sun. Most of the ducks have moved on.
I did get a quick look at a Pied-billed Grebe as I was tracking the Teal.
Chester was spared severe weather. There were some incredible clouds and some
impressive wind.
New arrivals will be coming every day. Still plenty of White-throats and Juncos
in our yard.
