That sounds great, and more than fair. As for the plantation itself, I think I
saw on their Facebook page they have a "half-off on Friday" deal coming up.

Birdwatching at Shirley Plantation:
-Roadside access from Shirley Plantation Rd., Eppes Island Rd., and the Weanack
Haul Rd. is permitted. Vehicles should be pulled off road to allow safe passage
of other vehicles and farm equipment. Hunters have right of way on property. Be
aware of hunting season and realize that you may be asked to leave.
-Unguided access to ponds and water features is not allowed under any
circumstances.
-Entry to Port Weanack is not allowed.
-Birdwatching is permitted on the historic portion of the property with a
grounds only or full admission ticket during regular business hours.
-Arrangements can be made for groups outside of regular business hours with a
$150 minimum charge.
