I saw the Yellow-eyed Penguins on the Otago Peninsula. They were quite
stunning. So sad to hear of the problems with this species. We also saw Blue
Penguins, which are the world's smallest penguins. It was the thrill of my
trip
to see the two species of penguins, and worth the whole trip even if I hadn't
seen other things exciting.
I can hardly wait to go back to New Zealand.
