It’s going to be a hot one out there, but better to get outdoors than not at
far as I’m concerned.
Meet me at 8:00 AM at the entrance to Henricus Historical Park/Dutch Gap
Conservation area. Explore this great birding destination to see what’s
breeding and may be heading back south. Also remember, there are two Roseate
Spoonbills hanging out at Shirley Plantation, a couple in Poquoson, and a few
in Pennsylvania - so you never know what might turn up on this walk. The marsh
would be a perfect spot for them.
Early birders meet at 7:00 AM at the Dutch Gap Boat Landing parking lot.
Sleepyheads join us at 8:00 at the main Henricus/Dutch Gap entrance gate. For
