We had a pair of Wood Ducks checking out holes & possible nest cavities in the sycamores and river birch down by the creek today.
A pair of Red-bellied WP are actively working on a hole in a dead sweet gum in the yard. He did the excavation earlier and she has been there recently "cleaning out" chips left behind.
