There is the Northern Shenandoah Audubon Society, Rockingham Bird Club, and at
least one more. Check the VSO home page and their chapters page. Also, the
Audubon website for chapters in VA. All the info you need should be in one or
both of those sources.

Subject: [va-richmond-general] Any Birding Organizations Near Roanoke?

RAS had a call from someone wanting to know if there is an Audubon
chapter near Roanoke. From looking at the NAS website, I conclude
that there is no chapter in the western part of the state. Before I
call this person back, does anyone know of any birding organizations
at all in the western part of the state?
