hi Al and Linda,
i'm very curious about this 13 mile canoeathon--sounds very interesting! is
this a fund raiser for the lions club? any details about next years event?

Subject: [va-richmond-general] glossy ibis

In addition to multiple Bald Eagles, Osprey, a beautiful Red-tail Hawk, many
Prothonotary Warblers, Bank Swallows, etc., we saw a Glossy Ibis flying
overhead between Curles Neck and Presquile from a canoe today. We were taking
part in the Lions Club 13 mile Canoeathon. It's a good way to see birds on the
river, although not easy to stop paddling to pick up binoculars. One pair of
eagles was doing its courting behavior in midair.
