I took a nice walk at Appomattox Riverside Park in Dinwiddie County this morning. Highlights were 9 warbler species including my first of spring PRAIRIE WARBLER, HOODED WARBLER and NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH. Also had a SWAINSON'S THRUSH tee up which may be a bit on the early side. The ORCHARD ORIOLES and a pair of EASTERN KINGBIRDS were quite vocal and it seemed like every little bird I looked at was a YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER. A nice morning to be out. I've inlcuded the list from ebird below. Good birding. Adam D'Onofrio Dinwiddie Co.
