Hello Birders, Took a spin around Hopewell with Ellison Orcutt this morning. Slightly milder conditions seemed to bring the birds out (I didn't see much of anything on Thanksgiving morning in the same area). The City Point area was most productive with 2 or 3 Orange-crowned Warblers, 1 Black and White Warbler, 1 Palm Warbler, 1 Common Yellowthroat, and a couple of Yellow-rumped Warblers. Also seen was a imm. male Baltimore Oriole, and a Merlin breakfasting on, what looked like, a House Sparrow. Looked for the Nashville in Richmond but struck out on that.
