I think you're right. I see some new birds have arrived after looking at
reports trickling in, but it seems the quality conditions overnight led to
many birds moving through our area. And don't forget that birds other than
the neo trops are moving, too. Winter sparrows, shorebirds, etc.. some of
which we may overlook.

Today at the Capitol Grounds I added a Great Crested Flycatcher and a
couple Northern Parulas which were not there yesterday.

I spent a couple of hours this morning at Reedy Creek/42nd St.  The radar
last night looked like there was a lot of movement south of us, but perhaps
I misinterpreted it. It seems that many of the great birds that folks found
yesterday took advantage of the clear night to move out. Best birds of the
day were singing Yellow Warbler and Baltimore Oriole, but numbers and
diversity seemed down. In particular, there were far fewer Yellow-rumped
Warblers than people have been reporting over the past week.
