Just a quick note about yesterday's highlights
(Aug 26) as I squeeze this report in between all
my preps for the start of school this week.

King George ponds along route 3:
1 black tern
5 forster's terns
5 pectoral sandpipers
1 lesser yellowlegs
2 dowitcher sp
about a dozen least sandpipers
3 spotted sandpipers
19 blue-winged teals
1 pied-billed grebe


Leedstown, Westmoreland Co
hundreds of bank swallows
olive-sided flycatcher (new bird for my property
list)
No shorebirds in their usual haunts. Everything
is very dry.
