I came across a number of spring arrivals this morning at Leesylvania SP
and Metz Wetlands. Highlights were a brown thrasher at Metz Wetlands,
and singing yellow throated warber, pine warbler, and Louisiana
waterthrush at Leesylvania State Park, all in Woodbridge, VA. I also
saw a male kestrel dining on a song sparrow, bonaparte's and laughing
gulls in Neabsco creek, singing winter wren, and ruby-cowned kinglets
starting to do their "liberty" call.
