This Saturday, Feb 14, the Northern Virginia Teen
Bird Club is planning to go on a field trip to
look for raptors, including the rough-legged
hawks, (and other birds) in Loudoun County. We
will leave Flint Hill School in Oakton at 1 PM
and return there by 5:30. Please spread the word
to any birding teens you know and have them call
(see signature below)or e-mail me to let me know
of their interest or if they need directions. It
is open to all pre-college teens, beginners or
advanced. We will go rain or shine, but not if
it is snowing or icy. It is free. I have extra
binoculars you can use. We will travel in a
school minibus. This trip is co-sponsored by
Fairfax Audubon Society and Flint Hill School.
