This Saturday, February 12, is the next Northern
Virginia Teen Bird Club trip, sponsored by The
Audubon Society of Northern Virginia and Flint
Hill School. Traveling by school minibus, we
will leave the west campus of Flint Hill (3320
Jermantown Rd) in Oakton at 7 AM and return by
11:30. Pleas e-mail Mr Atwood (or leave a
message at the phone number below) if you plan to
attend or if you have suggestions on where you
would like to go. It is open to all students,
experts or beginners, in grades 8-12. We have
extra binoculars and two spotting scopes.
The remaining trips scheduled this school year
are March 5 and April 9.
To get to Flint Hill take exit 60 from route 66
onto route 123 towards Vienna and Oakton. Turn
left after 1/4 mile at the second light onto
Jermantown Rd. Go about 1 mile, passing Oak Marr
park, and turn right into the FHS parking lot.
We will meet at the circle in front of the
school.
