Hello Teen-Birders
The next Northern Virginia Teen Bird Club field
trip will be on Saturday. November 12 from 7 AM
to 12 noon. Right now we are planning to look
for the Neotropical Cormorant at the C&O canal or
the LeConte's Sparrow at Occoquan Bay National
Wildlife Refuge. The destination may change if
these birds are not spotted again this week or if
something else exciting shows up nearby.
If you plan to come, please contact Mr. Atwood
for directions. We will meet at Flint Hill
School, 3320 Jermantown Rd, Oakton (Fairfax Co)
at 7AM. All students in grades 8-12 are welcome.
We have spare binoculars you can use if you do
not own a pair.
