This morning, around 9am, late as I was getting to work, I stole some time to
peek
at the feeder as usual. Sitting in the evergreen next to the feeder I saw the
head
of an "uncommon" bird - turned out to be a Yellow-Rumped Warbler! Between the
Goldfinches singing and the warbler, it turned out to be a nice morning!
All this on top of about 10 minutes of viewing of a Red-Breasted Nuthatch
yesterday
that wouldn't leave the feeder until he got his sunflower seed (which had to be
after all the other birds left!).
I hope the warbler means that spring is around the corner!
