Joining the chorus of first of year singing phoebes appearing today was one
in my backyard in Lincoln, western Loudoun Co., this morning. I hear the
first spring peeper chorus this afternoon, too impatient to wait until
evening to start.

Subject: [va-bird] singing phoebe in Fairfax County
All,
I heard an Eastern Phoebe singing this morning while I was on my run in
Centreville. First one I've heard this year. Also found a dead junco
in the middle of the trail. No obvious wound so I have no idea what
killed it.
Spring is springing!
