Listmates: My apologies to those who have already seen this post. I am a
birder and I work informally with the Appalachian Trail Land Trust. There
are now about 2000 acres of property for sale adjacent to the Appalachian
trail in Piedmont Virginia. Some of you are aware of the Freezeland Property
which is still for sale adjacent to the Thompson Wildlife Management Area.
The land trust desperately needs a few "angels" to purchase some of this
land. Developers are at the doorstep of the these properties. If you know
of someone who may be interested in purchasing beautiful land adjacent to the
Appalachian Trail, please contact me privately and I will put you in touch
with the Appalachian Trail Land Trust.
