Dear Teen Birders
This Saturday's field trip for the Northern
Virginia Teen Bird Club is planned for noon to 6
PM, January 22. It's a little bit longer than
usual because we are planning to go to the ponds
in King George County a little southeast of
Fredericksburg. These ponds have abundant
waterfowl. This trip is open to any interested
students in grades 8-12 and it is free of charge.
We have spotting scopes and extra binoculars to
share. Beginners and experts are welcome. Since
the weather on Saturday may be hazardous, this
field trip might be cancelled. If snow or sleet
is in the forecast, please call Mr. Atwood on
Saturday morning 703-242-1675 anytime after 8:00.
