Was heard today in a forest and ravine complex composed of mixed hardwood and
pine forest also containing mtn laurel, rhododendron and holly. I never could
lay eyes on the bird, but it's what I heard, and I'm stickin' to it. This was
on the Northern Neck, on an upland ridge formation near Pee Dee Creek.
