[va-bird] juvenile snowy egret at Little Hunting Creek 07/29/06

There was a juvenile snowy egret at Little Hunting Creek near the stone
bridge this morning at about 7:00am.  It was among about a dozen greater
egrets.  It left the area within an hour or so and did not return.  I'll
look for it tomorrow morning.

 

I don't recall seeing a juvenile snowy in this area before.  Is this unusual
or have I just not noticed them?
