Hi List,
This is just a repeat of a discussion that we had last year on misters
for birds. I have a mist thing going in my backyard now and it is located
about seven feet up in a dense cedar and is spraying a plume of mist about
six feet long. Much of the mist is hitting branches on the cedar and the rest
is falling into bird baths. There have been at least two birds, and up to
twenty in the cedar and on the baths all day. You might want to give it a
try. The chickadees and titmice will grab a sunflower seed then sit in front
of the nozzle and eat. It's got to be fun and I have to think that it is
cooling them off a lot, too.
