Dear Virginia birders,
I am looking for breeding bird data for any areas within the Culpeper
Basin. This area roughly extends along the eastern portions of Loudoun,
Fauquier, and Culpeper counties and the western portions of Prince
William and Orange counties. I am primarily interested in the grass and
shrubland bird communities and ideally, this information would have
abundance data associated with it, although checklists or rough
estimates of abundance may be useful. I will be using this data to
evaluate the importance of this area for grass and shurbland birds in
Virginia. Please respond off-line if you are interested in sharing this
information by next Tuesday, the 24th.
