If anyone wants a close up look at a juvenile black vulture, one hatched
a month and a half ago in a grassy area under the front walkway into my
office building on the grounds of Inova Fairfax Hospital, 3650 Joseph
Siewick Drive, Fairfax, 22033. Still has some of its beige down
feathers. Guess it will "fledge" soon, but we are uncertain how it will
get out of the well it is in.
